What it does
InspectEdge is a learned defect detector that runs on a small computer next to the camera and gives a decision for every single part, not a sample. It was trained on more than 40,000 annotated frames from three production lines and generalises across stations through heavy augmentation for lighting, camera angle and rotation — so a new station is a calibration, not a project.

Deployment and licensing
Licensed per production line. The one-time licence is perpetual and includes twelve months of updates; the subscription adds scheduled retraining on your review-queue data and can be cancelled monthly. Camera and edge hardware are specified together with you and can be supplied on request.
Proven in production
On the line it came from, the detector reaches 0.962 mAP@50 on a held-out set and inspects 100 % of boards at 48 parts per minute. The case study linked above has the details.
